Methodology · Research Governance
The shared quality-control protocol used to decide whether a career research finding is ready to publish.
Research questions
- Can every material claim be traced to a source or calculation?
- Is the population defined?
- Is the observation date visible?
- Could a reader reproduce the result?
- Are limitations prominent enough to prevent overinterpretation?
Method
- Maintain a source register for every research project.
- Version the methodology when coding rules change.
- Run duplicate and consistency checks before publication.
- Review claims for unsupported causation, fabricated precision and stale data.
- Publish corrections when a material methodological error is found.
Expected outputs
- Research checklist
- Source register
- Version history
- Correction log
- Publication decision
Publication rule
No findings, sample sizes, percentages or compensation figures are implied by this methodology page. A published result requires an actual source set, dated observations and a disclosed limitations section.
