Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how OnlineResumeBuilder.site processes information when you visit the website, use our resume and career tools, or contact us. We are committed to transparency and respect your personal privacy.
1. Information You Provide
When you use the resume builder, you may enter career information such as your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and projects. In client-side workflows, this data is processed entirely in your web browser and saved to your device's local storage. We do not automatically store your resume drafts on our servers.
2. Browser-Local Storage
Most features store drafts and configurations locally on your computer or mobile device using localStorage. You retain complete ownership and control over your files. Clearing your browser data will delete these local drafts, so we recommend exporting your documents regularly.
3. Server-Assisted Features
Certain optional features, such as account authentication, contact form submission, or specific server-assisted document parsing, require communication with our API (api.onlineresumebuilder.site). When you use these features, data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections solely to fulfill your request.
4. Cookies and Advertising Disclosure
OnlineResumeBuilder.site may display third-party advertisements served by Google AdSense to support the availability of our free career tools. Google and its partners use cookies—including the DoubleClick cookie—to serve ads based on prior visits to our website or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or through AboutAds.info.
5. Technical and Aggregate Analytics
To ensure server performance and improve tool functionality, we may collect non-personal technical data such as browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and general device category. This information is processed in aggregate and is never linked to individual resume content.
6. Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete any personal data held by us. Because we do not store resume drafts on our servers, you can delete your drafts directly within your browser at any time. For questions regarding stored account or contact data, email us at contact@onlineresumebuilder.site.
